So when Faith came begging for protection, I knew exactly what I wanted. I yearned for her body. Lust raged through me like a wildfire. I longed to make her pregnant with my child. I gave her an offer she couldn't refuse. A life for a life. My protection, in exchange for everything she had to offer. I'd die for her, but she would give me a son. I took her womb. I never suspected she'd take my heart.

So much a skeptic about this whole book and author. Where the hell all those 5 stars came from on Amazon is beyond me because this book was horrible!

I wanted to rate this higher but there were way too many things that bothered me. 1. The obsession with filling her womb with seed. Almost every chapter and every scene. 2. "A throb in his member and then a pulse of liquid against my cervix. It struck so forcefully my vision blurred." Seriously, has this ever happened to any woman? It was something that scared me. “I love you, Faith. I love you. And I’m going to show you exactly how much. I’m going to prove my love to you.” Yet he just said "“I love you, Faith. I fucking love you. I’ve never said that to anyone in my life. I love you and I love the son you’ve given me. I’ll spend the rest of my life thanking you.” during sex in the previous chapter. Or this: “Prove it to me so I know you’re a man of your word. Prove it to me so that I’ll never be able to doubt you.”...didn't he just spend twelve years of his life proving he'll keep a promise? She even says "I’d been waiting so long for him and he was back. It was overwhelming. It was unbelievable. He’d returned after all his years of absence. He’d finally come home to me." when he first comes back. 4. He talks about owning her, being her master, her feeling empowered by being compliant. I felt this stuff was thrown into the mix because it's popular genre right now and not because they're actually in a D/s relationship. 5. His cock was so wet, my ass was so covered in saliva and juice, that he didn’t need lube. He began to slide inside me and it was smooth and easy, as if my body wanted him in there." Has this author ever had anal sex before because even porn stars who do this frequently have some resistance, requiring a little work. 6. Everything was too easy and too perfect. There really wasn't much for the characters to have to struggle with. Insta-love, raising a kid alone and making a successful business, no sex with anyone else for 12 years yet no desire for anyone else, he kills 12 men and never gets caught and nobody suspects a thing. Kid knows this strange guy is his dad with no hard feelings. They're best buddies the moment they meet. There's no explanation about where he's been all this time or why he's back. 7. The whole book was more of an outline for a rough draft. I'm wondering if it was put in front of an editor. If so, they did a horrible job. I don't understand the 4+ star reviews but I certainly won't be reading any books they recommend.

I borrowed this from KU because it had 400+ five star reviews in under a week. And that was right after release. That's not even possible for most established authors, so to say I'm skeptical of a brand new one is both obvious and understandable. In my attempt to read this story, I laughed, cringed, and was thoroughly disgusted. The writing is repetitive. The story makes absolutely no sense. The characters are morons... This book is garbage. This was an amazing book, by a really talented new author. I really loved Jackson and Faith, and I cheered for them all the way through this book. If ever a story told the tale that the road to love is never smooth, it's this one. If you are a fan of gritty, dirty bad boys and the women that love them, this is the book for you. It had loyalty, heart, and was panty-melting hot.

Chance Carter may become a new guilty pleasure. I kind of love that this book is exactly what you expect after reading the blurb. There's a bit of a "breeding" angle which always makes me giggle like a 12 year old as well as lots of womb and seed talk. But Chance makes it work. Faith and Jackson meet when Faith is in a bad situation. A few months later her situation gets worse and Jackson is there to save her on condition that she surrender to him. It follows these two as they try to work out their demons and hopefully come out the end unscathed. Mystery, sexy times, a dedicated bad boy and a strong heroine are all things that make this book the perfect guilty pleasure. Can't wait to see where Chance takes the next book. I'm definitely ready for more.

Oh my gawd. I did not finish this book at 64%. It was so so so so so awful. I just can't even. In fact, I'm going to make a Goodreads bookshelf named 'I can't even' and this book here will be the first on it. I honestly think that I've been binge reading a bunch of romance books because I just got married and unfortunately, this one just can't even come close to even being called a real romance book. It's extremely obvious that a male author wrote it and it's almost written like an overview... A " Oh my gawd. I did not finish this book at 64%. It was so so so so so awful. I just can't even. I was given this as an ARC for a honest review. This book was ok but for me there are some issues: (spoilers) *There were a few minor editing issues, this is a first book I can make some allowances for that. * The insta love thing is pretty common these days which is fine but the whole 12 years apart is a LONG time to sustain that with little to no contact, bit hard to get my head around that one. * Not much back history on either gangs/brotherhood, were they just criminal or MC? * Jackson was very e I was given this as an ARC for a honest review. It got a little clichéd for me, not attractive at all. * Knowing she was pregnant after such a short time period, sensing it?????? What! It almost read a little like a 'shifter' book (which I love and have read a lot) but no animal emerged. * Speaking of animals, lots of animal references e.g "I'm a piston-fired, turbo-charged, orgasm machine. I can out-fuck a herd of stallions." It goes on and on with different animal analogies, bit weird for my tastes and OTT *The whole your mine, I own you thing was done wayyyyyyy to many times, we get it, she got it, move on. * The story jumps 12 years, just wow! Though it wasn't bad it did seem an excessively long time. I feel for the h having to raise her son alone. So far it seems like I've been a bit negative. I can't say that I hated the book but I also can't say it was a must read though it was ok. I feel the second half of the book was better for me than the first. This is this authors first book and we all grow with age/experience. Will I read more from this author? If the second book's synopsis intrigues me enough, sure!

I wanted to read this book and see what all the hype was about. I wanted to know why it has so many 5 star reviews on Amazon. This book was pretty awful. It read like a debut book by an author who needs to work on his craft. I don't know if this story could have been better because the plot was pretty ridiculous. ************SPOILERS************* There are things in this novel which left me shaking my head, rolling my eyes and wanting to throw my kindle. 1. I don't know if this story could have been better because the plot was pretty ridiculous. ************SPOILERS************* There are things in this novel which left me shaking my head, rolling my eyes and wanting to throw my kindle. 1. The obsession with talking about filling this woman's womb with his semen was repeated continously throughout and I got sick of it. I did not like any of the sex scenes. Especially the first one. Both of them should have taken a shower, she was on the run from her boyfriend. She could have just had sex with him hours before, then she could have been sweaty from running. Had she stopped somewhere to shower and clean herself up. I know this is a fictional story but I believe in hygiene. He has oral sex with her within minutes of them meeting again. 2. The fact that he kept thinking and talking about how bad he was. For goodness sake, he sounded like a teenage boy bragging. 3. I wanted to know a little more about Wolf and her life with him, how did she get involved with this guy in the first place. What did he look like. I don't think I even know what Jackson looks like, I cannot remember her describing him. The cover model does not suit the picture I have in my head. 4. The fact that he knew she was pregnant after having sex with her twice, come on that's ridiculous. Does he have some sort of superpower. 5. The whole you are mine crap got on my last nerves and it carried on to the end of the novel. It was like this author has read a bunch of erotic novels and FSOG too and needed to add some BDSM and some dialogue straight out of a bad porno movie. 6. He was gone for 12 years, that's ridiculous. Why not 2 years and he comes back and gets to help raise his son. How did he go without sex for 12 years, that's nonsense. Not even some oral sex from a woman. Give me a break. He fell madly in love with this woman in 2 days. Then the way he sees her again and she doesn't recognise his voice. He desperately wanted her to have his child but he didn't run round to her house to meet his son. I didn't even know what the son looked like. Did he look like his dad. 7. The book dragged on and on and there was so much repetition I started skipping those pages. The book could be shorter if it wasn't for all the repeated lines and pages of the same conversations and thoughts. 8. The way Jackson kept refering to her like she was a little child, it started to creep me out. I thought, is she underage or barely legal. Why not describe her as innocent or a sweet young woman. 9. The book is not well-written 10. The book had some errors but not that many. The author kept writing me instead of my. The best part was the conversations Jackson had with his son.

This book is full of shame and degradation and men treating women like shit and borderline pedophilia. Here is a DIRECT QUOTE!! "When I looked at her, I didn't see a mom, I saw a little girl, and I was desperate to fuck her." I am reasonably certain I would not let this author anywhere near my children. Or me. And don't even get me started on the whole premise of "I'm going to make her pregnant on purpose and it's totally going to work with one shot one time. I can just tell she's ovulating." If I had to read the phrase "I am going to fill you with my seed" one more time, I was going to call my nearest farm and tractor store and send this author 5 tons of sunflower seeds, because I think he may need a 12 step seed program. Dear Amazon Unlimited, I'm sending you my water and soap bill because of all the extra showering required to cleanse myself of this pile of filth.

I received an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review It's not often I pick up a book thinking it's going to be good and it turns into a complete mishmash off all that is weird and popular in the romance genre. This book had motorcycles, insta-love, sex, and killing. See. It kinda fills a ton of tropes, but it isn't done in a way that I really enjoyed. I pushed through with this book because I wanted to be able to leave an actual review versus a DNF. Jackson and Faith. The second half was much better. I think the story could have focused on the relationship growing and becoming more versus the 'I just met you and this is crazy, let's have sex so you'll have my baby' thing that happened here. I guess I struggled with this book. the language used isn't entirely realistic. Or maybe it is and I'm just not hanging out with the right people. I really don't know. It didn't work for me.

Had a ton of issues with this story. I ended up skimming through a big part of this. There were way to many similes. It seriously was so annoying. Every page there's was "have you ever...? I am giving this book a 2.75 star rating. This was a story of Faith and Jackson and their journey of "love". Faith was a woman in a desperate situation, in a relationship where she was going to be held hostage, and would do whatever to get out. She realized that the decisions she had made to get involved with the leader of a gang lead to that point in her life. And now she had to muster up the power to do something to get out. She realized that the decisions she had made to get involved with the leader of a gang lead to that point in her life. And now she had to muster up the power to do something to get out. Jackson was a man who wanted to leave a legacy, despite the life he had led. When he saw Faith he made a decision to choose her to assist him in that quest. Jackson, in my opinion, acted like a man lusting after a woman. He was attracted to her and wanted to have sex. This story was unbelievable for me. I didn't like how the characters said they left everything, to their meeting in the bar, having their agreement, and them being separated for 12 years, to fate. They both made decisions to get into "business" together. That's not fate. I also didn't believe Jackson's immediate need for him to have a child. I didn't see the importance for it. And I didn't fully believe that Faith and Jackson wanted each other for other than sex. I didn't see a deep connection. It was just lust. Their circumstances were forcing them to react that way. There was no substance behind the emotions. I had a serious question. Why was the time of the pregnancy and the 12 years that Jackson was away so rushed? It didn't even get a section. All the detail of the other parts of the story and those parts felt like it didn't matter. That's sad. Jackson stated that he was bad to the bone, but he was out of character most of the book. He was crying too much. He didn't cry when his daddy died, but he cried over Faith. I was so surprised that Sam, Jackson's son, didn't have any questions for him. Sam was so understanding about him being his father and being gone for 12 years. After a while the book became redundant. Jackson was going to claim and reclaim Faith (even after like ten times Faith saying she was his). Jackson wanted to f... Faith. He wanted to make her his. He loves Faith. Faith loves him. Faith is truly Jackson's. She has captured him. Blah, blah, blah. I got tired of it. And I guess the only way to truly claim Faith was to do anal? Ummmm, no. Lastly, there were grammatical errors. Too many for me, but I let it slide. It didn't distract me more than the story itself. I wouldn't truly recommend this story, but I will let people read it for yourself.

You know... I actually read this book because the synopsis made me start cracking up with the way it was worded. I didn't expect to like this book. I did like this book. I'm not enamored with it. I think a lot of the word usage is off and unrealistic. Some of it flat out made me roll my eyes too. However, the plot beyond all of that, was pretty damn good. So seriously, if you can make it past the title, the synopsis and the wordage... it's worth it.

This one abused the emotions quite a bit. I cried a lot during the first half of the book. I went through some shock and annoyance when I read how the hero was still alive. I understood, I guess, why he had to be away, but to me he should have made more of an effort to come home. The hero is hung like a horse and likes rough sex...that is, when he is around.

Jackson the brooding, cocky, alpha bad ass, is smoldering hot, covered in tats, rides a motorcycle, and takes what he wants………seriously what else do you need! Oh and of course is one hell of a dirty talker. The chemistry between the two is sweltering, intense, never-ending, and explosive! They meet by chance not once but twice, is it fate or destiny pulling the strings of these two? Faith is desperate and on the run and seeing the same man from a few months before is a sign that he can help her when no one else can! “Will you help me?” “I’ll warn you right now,” “any help from me won’t come for free. Bad things will happen if I get involved. You’ll regret it. I swear to you.” “Will you hurt me?” “I’ll destroy” “I’ll take the one thing you’ve got to give, and I’ll drink it up like desert drinks the rain. I’ll ravage you till you beg me to stop. And then. Just when you think you can’t take anymore, I’ll ravage you again” Um can we saw WOW……….. This will not be the only WOW moment you have while reading this book At times I felt need to cool off with a splash of water…...... Parts of this book threw me for a loop and with quite unexpected twist and turns! Jackson’s love truly knows no bounds with the intensity in which he takes his vow to solve Faith’s problem and keep her safe. Faith struggles with the new found freedom that Jackson provides with his bargain. The Brotherhood Grant, Forrester, Grady and Lacey smooth that path for Faith and become the family and friends she needs for the next chapter in her life. I could seriously go on and on about this read, but I don’t want to spoil it, this is on my recommend list! Mr. Carter this is a story that provides all the needed twist turns and the unexpected! I found the book to be a great read and definitely look for to more works by this author. The question is do we have the beginnings of a new series, will the Brotherhood of get books as well, one can ONLY hope! Here is my vote for what Jackson looks like: and I am hoping others can help with their votes on Faith……

He is determined Faith is going to be the one to give him that. I enjoyed the story Loved the characters. Faith was a strong women. Jackson had his code he lived by and nothing was going to divert him away from that. Even falling in love. I had a problem with the twelve years. That is a long time to remain celibate. Faith was picking up the pieces of her life and raising her son. Jackson was out making sure Faith was safe from Wolf's gang coming back and harming her. Just a hard time line to work around. I did like that they just didn't pick right back up. They had to get to know each other again. The feelings were still there but after that long they were different people. The duel point of view kept you in the loop of what each person was feeling and going through which did help with the story. I received an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I was given this as an ARC for a honest review. Faith and Jackson meet in a bar, they talk and she's currently dating Staten Wolf, leader of a rival gang, she manages to escape and later bumps into Jackson and for her protection he wants her to carry his child! They have sexy time and both seem to know she pregnant within hours... They can both sense it! Jackson then goes to kill the Los Lobos gang which takes him TWELVE YEARS meanwhile back home Faith is raising their son. I felt there was too mu I was given this as an ARC for a honest review. I felt there was too much "shifter" references like Jackson could scent Faith hadn't had sex, his feelings etc, I was just waiting for the big bad wolf to escape! There are grammar errors but it's an ARC so I look past that but there is ALOT of repetition, I.e yours, mine, mine, mine.. All in the same scene, another use of words would make it flow better. The story jumps 12 years, perhaps a prologue summoning up the previous years would have worked then lead into the main missing 12 years. I love a bad boy and Jackson I really did like. Will I read more from this author? Yes, it's a debut novel and we all grow with age.

Bad boy romance He's cocky and knows what he wants... She's in need of help. Help that comes with a price. Faith has got in with the wrong crowd and needs to get out at any cost. Jackson willing to take on that debt in exchange for everything she has to offer. The question is... Is the price too much to pay This book is lust at first sight leading to love within days... Which I guess some people believe in... Maybe About half way through this book it skips time by a large amount (12 years) which I Bad boy romance He's cocky and knows what he wants... It felt like starting a new book (book 2)....and took a little while to get back into it, But overall it worked out. Good ending No cliffhanger Hot streamy x-rated romance 4* *An advanced copy of this book was given to me via the Author in exchange for an honest review*

I received an ARC for an honest review. Bad Boy Daddy by Chance Carter is the story of two broken people looking for the impossible... commitment, healing, family, and love. Raw, gritty, intense, and emotional; this book was an enjoyable read. I would have enjoyed this book more if I had more back story on the main characters and the story-line wasn't filled with access babble. I thought the over use of "master", "slave", and "owner" weren't appropriate for this book as it wasn't written as a BDS I received an ARC for an honest review. I think in the future, the author should have his books proofread several times before releasing it as there were several grammatical errors. All in all, a good book for the author's first release.

Okay I should have known this wasn't for me (I should have listened to my friends). Yeah sometimes I like a guilty book, like Scary Movie turned into a book with a lot of laughs because I can't resist all the nonsense, awful jokes and trashy cliffhangers. But this book was terrible, it didn't gave me the mexican soap opera feels, it didn't gave me the "I regret nothing" feels, it didn't even gave me the "I'm swimming in a sea of drama" feels, it was like they made a draft of a modern disney prin Okay I should have known this wasn't for me (I should have listened to my friends). Anyway maybe this book simply wasn't for me, after all the rating is incredibly high... ps: STOOOOOOOOOOOP the womb thing, please

This book was definitely not what I was expecting, it was so much more. I loved Jackson for the man he was but hated him for the same reason. He was a man's man to his deepest grain. He knew what he wanted and went after it without apology. He was also too prideful and to me that made him selfish. He had a family to go back to but his pride made him finish his business while his child grew up without a father. I'm so happy with the ending. A definite 5 star read for me.
